LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has instructed the Rabita Committee to hold a ‘historic’ rally to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army during the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb operation, Express News reported on Friday.

The date and location of the rally is yet to be announced.

Altaf appealed to the media to cover the rally and requested political and religious workers of other parties to attend it as well.

The army has launched an operation against militants in the North Waziristan Agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
