Extreme step: Woman commits suicide

ISLAMABAD: A married woman committed suicide at her house near Zia Mosque on Monday night. The Shahzad Town police, who are probing the case, said the deceased, identified as Aneela, 26, hanged herself by the ceiling fan in her room. She had married Basharat some six months ago but soon after their marriage, the couple developed differences over domestic issues, the investigation officer said. She was taken to Benazir Bhutto Hospital, where the doctors pronounced her dead. The deceased did not leave any suicide note. The police handed over the body to the family after legal formalities.
