Hold-up: Man shot for resisting robbery

FAISALABAD: Unidentified men on Monday shot and injured a man and snatched his motorcycle. Thikriwala police said Matloob Hussain was riding his motorcycle when he was intercepted by three armed robbers near Adda Chak 67-JB, Sadhar. They took away his motorcycle and shot at Hussain when he tried to resist. Hussain was seriously injured and taken to a hospital. The robbers fled. Doctors later said Hussain’s condition was stable. Police have registered a case against the robbers.
