City administration, FIA, K-E to curb overcharging

As the month of Ramazan approaches, the city administration takes to an even stricter form of crackdown against overcharging by allying with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the K-Electric.


Every year, prices of essential commodities go up during Ramazan. In order to discourage profiteers this year, the FIA, K-Electric and the city administration have joined hands to curb hoarding. This was decided during a meeting held to review the campaign against overcharging, chaired by commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui at his office.
