Hussain Mohiuddin, son of Dr Tahirul Qadri, was nominated as the main accused in the FIR lodged on the complaint of Faisal Town SHO Rizwan Qadir Hashmi.
The bloodshed took place outside the Central Secretariat of Minhajul Quran International in the Model Town neighbourhood of Lahore on June 17. As many as nine people including two women were killed in the clash and dozens others were injured.
According to the three-page FIR – a copy of which is available with The Express Tribune, the police blamed the PAT workers and leadership for the deadly melee outside the residence of Dr Qadri.
Other accused include the PAT General Secretary Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Chief Security Officer Altaf Hussain Shah and other office-bearers of the party. Eight unidentified gunmen and 3,000-plus activists of the PAT have also been nominated in the FIR.
Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police, DCO Lahore and Director General Lahore Development Authority (DG LDA) appeared before a judicial commission set up for investigation of Tuesday's clash, Express News reported.

Political reactions
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has said that administrative weaknesses led to the Lahore tragedy, adding that action should to be taken against culprits. He further said that the Punjab government is constitutional; hence, a change of government is not necessary and should not be discussed.
Meanwhile, Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed, while addressing the media, said that a judicial commission cannot heal the wounds of the Lahore incident. He welcomed the Punjab government’s decision to withdraw FIRs against workers of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT). Rasheed also announced that he has postponed his train march owing to the violent incident.

Qadri and his party workers are to blame for this incident. They had illegally encroached upon public property and given the government and police the carte blanche to do as they wished with that encroachment. All the arrested party workers should be heavily fined and kept in prison for assaulting police officers and obstructing their work. The government should make an example of these people so our country is spared from the wrath of crazy mob mentality.
Preaching hate and violence is crime. The action is to preach hate and make innocent people do wrong things, reaction is what happened in Lahore. Police must be disciplined and punished but what about the hate monger and hate preacher qadri? you need two hands to clap. Lets be mature and call spade a spade. Qadri is criminal and responsible for this as much as the police and their leaders. Take qadri to court or better yet file a complaint against this Canadian in Canada.

What about Barriers around Rana Sanaullah, Hamza Shehbaz & other political figures. Alas common public and even foreigners can visit 10 downing street in London who is a resident of a non Muslim but in Pakistan Muslims and country men of Pakistan are not allowed with in their own city. Shame to political leaders. Please try to find truth and not just get biased.

P.a.t workers are always peaceful activists and if you look carefully at some news footage some policeman that got stones on there head when bleeding the minhajis where helping him and gave him water but then the punjab police come back with vengeance shame on this fake democracy and the people who are trying to protect it!

No political party should support private militias for short term political gains. Had the police been allowed to remove barriers, the situation may not have spiralled out of control.

FIR must be lodghed against CM and Punjab Government, They broke all the records of mis-management and had no clue how to handle the situation, Police was found looting shops and doing so much illegal stuff.
FIR must be lauched against Tahirul Qadri for exploiting its workers in first place after Fajar prayer - just to fulfill his evil targets.
