The cyclone is reportedly likely to move towards the north-easterly direction and weaken during the next 24 hours, with maximum sustained speeds of approximately 30-40 knots.
There is also a probability of the cyclone dissipating over the north Arabian Sea in a couple of days.
Isolated rain and and thundershowers are expected in lower Sindh in the next few days, however no area of Pakistan is under threat from the cyclone.
Fishermen from Sindh and Balochistan have been advised not to venture into the open sea until Sunday night as the water along the coastline has been rough.
