@Aley: Spending should not be without purpose. Under spending allocated budget indicates tighter control/ Besides it can be utilized in nxt yr. Most of projects r in construction phase.
Very encouraging to see a provincial government allocating heavily on education and "actually spending" it. The only way forward is through education.
Can you kindly also add the Utilization of last year's development budget? which was only 27%?? Same is expected to happen this year...all talk no work
A good budget by Siraj Ul Haq
14% increase in foreign aid of which 79% are grants.. So what happened to we not bhikari, we dont take aid slogan of PTI?
All those who chanting about 1 m in Charsadha, Swabi and Bannu must ask editor, who wrote all this. Its his error, not a budget error. Think from your brain No one can write SOMETHING in Charsadha and Swabi.....in any budget. There are norms which you have to follow
I am sure PTI would've hired some world class consultants to finalize their plans. That's common sense.
PTI led KPK government is worse than ANP era.
This budget is the biggest fool with the people of KPK.
hahah, what is this.
Rs1m for SOMETHING in Charsadda, Swabi, Bannu and Karak
@Anum Saeed: Its foolish to think that Rich people are easy target to squeeze more money from them. Any increase in taxes or other cash grabs from rich always backfire because Rich are smart enough to divert their bills towards middle and poor classes.
Its a copy paste of the Federal Budget. Just about the only thing PTI is good at; copy pasting and adobe photoshop.
In the social welfare section:
Rs1m for SOMETHING in Charsadda, Swabi, Bannu and Karak
SOMETHING? seriously? :P
I am surprised. People say its a balanced budget. In fact there is nothing good in KPK budget. KPK needs a CM like Shehbaz Sharif who is governing Punjab very nicely.
I don't even know what to say to these nooras who are here just to criticize.....
Its a great budget, education, health and social welfare is focused. And we need to improve these sectors.
Social welfare, special education & women development Rs10.7m for school for children deprived of hearing and speech in TakhtBhai Rs1m for SOMETHING in Charsadda, Swabi, Bannu and Karak Rs8m for establishing 25 Dastakari (skill)centres in the province Rs36m for establishing drug rehab treatment centresin Peshawar district
What is this >>>>>> Rs 1m for SOMETHING in charsadda, Swabi, Bannu amd Karak. Haha something fishy going on.
Surprise to see anti-budget comments. If you compare with Punjab and Sindh, much more balanced. Most expenditures aim at competency development, education and health. Spot on. Not like blind laptop distributions
"Pti has failed badly in kpk over the past year" Noon has failed badly in punjab punjab over the past 35 years, sit down.
I think its a balance budget. Important areas i.e education and health are focused.its good that KPK government is taking serious measures to improve environment."Hosla afzai scheme" for the mothers to complete the injections is also a good way to insure the health issues.
RIP logic !
PTI is badly failed in KPK. They are trying to hide their failure by arranging public rallies in Punjab.
In last budget PML-N inceresed 10% salaries and pension and kpk incresed 15%...now PML-N and PTI 10% each. Its means failure of PTI in kpk. Totally disappointing.......
How does one start to "Well done KPK!" by reading just ten lines of expected budget proposal? Is there a limit to be being blind followers or no?
@Iqbal Haider: @Anum Saeed: I DISAGREE! Education in general has to be free of any taxation since we're still a developing nation, what Govt needs to do is regulate these private schools! There are many middle class families who send their children to private schools by sacrificing their luxuries so that they can provide best of education to their kids, we all know how are Govt schools are like, don't we? As of now we are nowhere near western countries! When our Govt schools reach at a satisfactory level, only then the Govt should think of slapping taxation on fees of private schools! or can you please give a sound advice to those middle class families who have no option but to send their kids to private schools???
@Iqbal: I don't see how you have come up with that logic - schools should ideally be free but the private schools thrive on a public sector failing and they shouldn't pay for that!
@Arfa: Free schooling is for those, who cant afford. Majority business community in Peshawar and other parts of KPK can pay all sort of fee's. Its high time you extract money from rich people in Pakistan
@Arfa: Private School fee's. Those who can afford 5,000 or 8,000 per month can afford 7,000 and 10,000 respectively
Well Done KPK !!. You are really working hard to make KPK a model province
Oh so "school fees are expected to go up".... wasn't it supposed to be free?
Education Budget: Punjab ---- > Not a surprise Sindh ---- > Was Expected Baluchistan ----> Have other problems KPK --------------------------- > Shocked they declared it an emergency last year)
