Heinous crime: Neighbour arrested for molesting child

SHO said the police were waiting for the medical examination report.

FAISALABAD: A 10-year-old boy was allegedly molested on Wednesday. The police claimed to have arrested the suspect in a raid. Mohammad Ahmed*, father of the victim, said the boy had been playing in front of their home when he was abducted by Usman Shah*, a resident of Thatha Nagoka Maula Pur.

He said Shah took the boy to a field and molested him. He said the boy returned home and told him what happened. “I took my son to the hospital and called the police.” he said.

Bahlak Station House Officer (SHO) Bashir Ahmad said a police team HAD conducted several raids in Thatha Nagoka Maula Pur until they arrested the suspect. He said the police were waiting for the medical examination report.
