Two brothers, Arif and Farman, from Darya Khan in Bhakkar district, who were first arrested for eating human flesh in April 2011, were re-arrested in April this year on the same charges.
Police arrested Arif when the head of a toddler was recovered from their home in Kahawar Kalan town near Darya Khan. Arif confessed to having cooked and eaten the rest of the body, while his brother Farman managed to flee but was later apprehended as well.
It was reported that the brothers had dug up and devoured up to 150 bodies from the graveyard before they were finally caught.
The brothers were previously sentenced to two years imprisonment after they were found to have disinterred corpses in the local graveyard for the purpose of eating them. However, they were released after serving a year-long prison term.

A farce court decision! Wao! In the jail they will b able to share their precious ideas with other criminals to train further varieties of cannibals because i personaly myself spent one whole week in KotLakhpat Jail and these jails are not a place of rehabilitation but a school of Criminalism, where criminals interact with each other, share their ideas, and on till they day of redemption they become Fully trained, theoretically experts in crimes! Believe me, em a student otherwise our jails perfect of profession of criminalization! They should be either properly be treated by psychiatrists or should be sentenced to death!

This is called "Windigo Psychosis" a mental illness.....better treated in a Forensic Psychiatry Unit which is a modified prison. But alas!
Beside this sentence, They should be treated by Qualified Psychiatrist as well, so that they may return to normal life. May Allah shower his blessing on these unfortunate brothers of us.
Should have been a life-term, or the classic gladiator-style "feed them to the lions" trick.
To be punished under retrospective legislation is against all the principles of justice. Shoddy sentencing, Your Honour, you were sworn to dispense due process and law, not play to a public gallery or give in to your own prejudices.
Would have been better if they were sent to Waziristan to eat some Taliban.
