Nawaz’s personal photographer: Zulfiqar Ali Balti passes away

He is survived by wife and three children.

ISLAMABAD: Zulfiqar Ali Balti, the personal photographer of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, passed away on Monday after prolonged illness at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). He was 57. He is survived by wife and three children. Balti was associated with premier since 1996, said his brother Muhammad Ali. Balti, who belonged to Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), had worked for different newspapers like Pakistan Observer, The Nation, and Daily Nawa-e-Waqt. He had captured memorable moments of Nawaz Sharif as prime minister and also as an opposition leader, said Balti’s brother.
