Safe Water For All: New tube-well inaugurated
The minister said the government was making efforts to provide basic facilities to people.

Minister for Food Bilal Yasin on Monday said the government was taking steps for provision of safe drinking water for the citizens. He said the government would repair old tube-wells and install new ones. He said filtration plants would also be set up in various parts of the province. He was inaugurating a new tube-well in Karim Park near WAPDA Ground. The minister said the government was making efforts to provide basic facilities to people. He said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was committed to providing basic facilities like safe drinking water, electricity and gas to the masses. He said the Punjab government was paying special attention to installation of water filtration as safe drinking water was essential for public health.
