Terror plots: Karachi airport, Taftan attacks condemned

CM Shah condemned the attacks and called on the federal government to ensure elimination of lawlessness in the country

Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) lawmakers condemned the brazen terrorist assault on Karachi’s old airport terminal late Sunday night.  The attack left 28 dead, including 12 terrorists. According to reports, 10 ASF personnel, two Rangers officials, one police officer and three PIA officials are among the deceased.


The house also condemned the suicide blast at a hostel housing Shia pilgrims in Taftan, Balochistan. The attack has so far claimed 30 lives. Lawmakers offered Fateha for the departed souls.

In a separate statement, CM Shah also condemned the attacks and called on the federal government to ensure elimination of lawlessness in the country.
