The Pakistan Muslim League - Quaid (PML-Q) has invited all political parties and its defectors in Sindh to join its fold in a bid to overthrow the incumbent federal government before the end of this year.
Addressing a press conference at the Circuit House on Sunday, PML-Q provincial president Haleem Adil Shaikh said that his party will reach out to all political parties in the country, except the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N), to elicit their support. "The PML-N-led government has not only failed in solving energy, terrorism, inflation, debt and other issues, but has also become a security threat as it tries to weaken Pakistan's security institutions," he alleged.
"We swallowed a bitter pill by allowing the PML-N to rule this country for a year," he said. "But we can't tolerate it any more."
Shaikh also came down hard on the government's dialogue with the Taliban, arguing that it is the first government in over a decade that has been given a political mandate to negotiate. "The PML-N appears to be confused. They failed to resolve the situation as the terrorist attacks have resumed after a fleeting pause."
According to sources in the PML-Q, the party is also unwilling to take Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan as an ally because of his soft corner for the Taliban.
Shaikh justified teaming up with the PPP, MQM and other leaders, adding that his party is launching a mass mobilisation movement to directly engage the people.

I second what Faisal said....
We are with you Dr Sahib and so is every sensible Pakistani...
Until Qadri's return the spirit of opposition was absent in important matters like privatization, negotiations with Terrorists, election rigging, outcome from foreign visits, budget 2013, budget 2014, instability in the country, media campaign against army, etc. etc... Time to face real opposition, the same so called people who elected these thugs through massively rigged elections will kick them out of power and the so called family owned business they call Pakistani Democracy will go bankrupt and true democracy will be established! There is no other force within parliament and out of parliament that status Quo is as threatened by as they are from Qadri! time is up, within months our nation is about to witness it's first peaceful people's REVOLUTION!
PML-Q abettors of usurped dictatorship, turncoats, now want to uproot democracy. Deserve to be elected then govern. Destabilizing politics cannot be a favor to the country in present conditions. In the given circumstances,I would not create mayhem no matter which political party was in the saddle.
@sabi
You mean the movie, where Ronald regen was given the role of a hero?
Rex Minor
the pertinent question here is, what different would you do as compared to the incumbent government to bring about qualitative change? Nothing! So rest your heels till the merry go round comes your way in 4 years' time.
Bro never underestimate anyone. If you have ever read history you would know. The people who stand with public can always make a come back. The work that PMLq did was ground level work improving roads hospitals police traffic police 1122 flyover bridges and many other things. What pmln is doing is elitist work. No attachment to the poor people. So before you laugh at people, just keep in mind that pmln and bjp (india) were both almost finished parties and look where they are now. Take care.

Dear Mr. Shaikh! You didnt allow them to rule the country.... We (the people of Pakistan) did! Just like we didnt allow you to come back into power! So stop thinking that you and your half a dozen MNAs can change the government. We elected them we want to see them go thru the democratic process and if they suck we will fire them like we fired you!
