Johar has been admitted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment and reportedly has several health complications due to the continuous hunger strike.
Bushra Khaliq of the Asian Human Rights Commission, Mama Qadeer of the Voice of Baloch Missing Persons, senior Baloch nationalist Mir Muhammad Ali Talpur, Naghma Sheikh of the Democratic Federation, Mahnaz Rehman of the Aurat Foundation and others visited Johar on Friday and requested him to end the protest.
Khaliq informed Johar and his supporters that an appeal for the recovery of Zahid Baloch has been submitted in the United Nations. “We are ending this protest after several requests were made to do so,” said Banu Karima Baloch, the BSO-Azad vice chairman. She also said that Johar was assured that an appeal had been sent to the UN.

Dear Express Tribune, please note, one of the ladies is feeding the kid. Any reason for publishing this photo?
I hope the missing Baloch leader is recovered but on the same side, i wonder why the Balochs do not observe hunger strike against those insurgents who are carrying out activities in Balochistan in which innocent people are being killed everyday.
