Personal dispute: FATA Secretariat official shot dead

PESHAWAR: An account officer at the FATA Secretariat, Ihsanullah, was gunned down along with his driver on Dora Road in the jurisdiction of Bhanamari police station on Thursday morning. Police said Ihsanullah and his driver, Khaista Rehman, were killed when unidentified men opened fire at them on Dora Road near Dir Colony. “Both of them died on the spot. We initially considered it an incident of target killing but later the deceased official’s relatives registered an FIR against their family foes, identified as Gul Islam, Noor Islam, Nazar Islam and Nawab,” said an official of the Bhanamari police.
