Police encounter: Three wanted bandits killed

Three alleged bandits were killed in an encounter with the police on Monday.

UBAURO: Three alleged bandits were killed in an encounter with the police on Monday. Speaking to journalists, Ghotki SSP Ibrar Hussain said that the police received a tip-off after which they cordoned off the areas near Baito. They challenged a group of bandits and, during an exchange of fire, three alleged bandits - Mir Hazar Shah, Akmal Koraio and Mujeeb Gopang - were killed. These bandits were wanted by the police for being involved in dozens of cases in Sindh and the Punjab. Hussain announced cash awards and appreciation certificates to the police who had conducted the raid.
