Illegalities: FIA acts on gas theft, fake documents

FIA raided a CNG station on Raiwind Road and detected gas theft.

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday raided a CNG station on Raiwind Road and detected gas theft there, FIA Punjab Director Usman Anwar said. The manager of USAQ CNG Station, Younis, had been arrested, an official of the raiding team said. A case had been registered against the owner of the CNG station. Separately, an FIA team offloaded two men from flight EY-242 for trying to travel on forged documents. Tassawar Iqbal and Shahzad Zaheer were carrying forged visit visas for France and Germany. They have been sent to the FIA’s Anti-Human Trafficking Circle for further action, officials said.
