Faking authority: Fake traffic wardens arrested

The men, Akbar Khan and Ghulam Nabi, were arrested.

LAHORE: The police have arrested two men pretending to be traffic wardens on Thursday. Saddar division SP Malik Awais said that a police patrol party noticed two fake traffic wardens on duty near Multan Road and asked them for their official documents, which they did not have. The men, Akbar Khan and Ghulam Nabi, were arrested and two police uniforms and challan books seized. During interrogation, the men confessed that they would stop motorists and take bribes from them.
