Caught in the act: Teenage thieves remanded to police custody

The police said that the owner of the mobile phone shop had registered an FIR against both the accused.

 Two alleged thieves, both in their teens, were remanded to police custody for a day by the court on Wednesday.


The young thieves, Ammar Memon and Anees Memon were arrested by the Khairpur police on Tuesday over their alleged involvement in a robbery at a mobile phone shop in Thehri. According to Babarloi police officials, the personnel had found stolen mobile phones, memory cards, cash and USBs on their person at the time of arrest.

The police said that the owner of the mobile phone shop, Ghulam Asghar Memon, had registered an FIR against both the accused after he identified them.
