Complaints cell : LHC takes notice of ‘acid attack’
The cell has directed the Hafizabad district and sessions judge to look into the matter.

The Lahore High Court complaints cell has taken notice of a report that a man caused the death of his wife by forcing her to consume acid. The cell has directed the Hafizabad district and sessions judge to look into the matter and submit a report regarding steps taken by police along with his comments in seven days. Sobia from Hassan Town, Hafizabad, had married Qamar Shah a year ago. She recently left her husband and started living with her parents. Shah allegedly persuaded her to return and forced her to drink acid. She was taken to Faisalabad Allied Hospital with she died.
