Ideas exchange: Turkish delegation visits CCPO

LAHORE: A delegation of Turkish police officers met Capital City Police Officer Chaudhry Shafique Gujjar at his office on Monday. Gujjar briefed the delegation about the organisational structure, strategies to curb crimes and operations of the Lahore police. Operations DIG Rana Abdul Jabbar discussed police patrolling. Gujjar said the present government was making arrangements to overcome the shortage of policemen and ensure distribution of resources in-accordance with the population. Members of Turkish delegation briefed the CCPO about Turkey’s police system. Admin SSP Rana Shahzad and Headquarters SP Maroof Safdar Wahla were present on the occasion.
