While speaking to media on Monday, Ifranullah Marwat, the party's parliamentary leader in Sindh Assembly, said that they would meet both Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday.
Marwat revealed that the removal of Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, development schemes and re-organisation of the party in Sindh will be the agenda for the meeting. "Our party has appointed its own governors in all provinces except Sindh. We will stress on giving this slot to a party stalwart in Sindh as well," Marwat said, adding that they will consider taking back their ultimatum whenever their issues were resolved. According to Marwat, the prime minister had totally ignored the party in Sindh after the general elections and had not bothered to consult senior leaders in the province on important issues.
"We will also demand that elected representatives of the party should be taken into confidence on Sindh's issues," he said, claiming that the provincial government had started victimising some PML-N leaders in Sindh, but the prime minister and other central leaders of the party were not taking notice of it. "We have recieved thousands of votes from our constituencies and our voters are also expecting development work in their areas. We will request the prime minister to help us provide relief to our people."
The ten PML-N MPAs in Sindh had expressed their grievances regarding the leadership's attitude towards them. They had announced to leave the party and sit on independent seats in the Sindh Assembly if the party failed to resolve their issues.
