Check post attacked: Five FC troops injured in Bajaur

Five paramilitary Frontier Corps soldiers were wounded in an attack on a check post in Bajaur Agency on Sunday.

According to political administration and security officials, suspected militants attacked the check post in Manno Jungle border area of Mamond tehsil, Bajaur Agency. As a result, five paramilitary troops manning the post were wounded.

Security forces claim to have killed five militants in the retaliatory action. The paramilitary troops chased the fleeing militants into Kaga Pass area where a check post was also set up.
