Matrimonial dispute: Woman gunned down
According to Shah, some relatives had asked for his daughter’s hand in marriage but he had refused.

A young woman was shot dead over a matrimonial dispute in Garhi Chakar in Ghotki on Saturday night. According to sources, a group of men broke into the residence of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) leader Syed Fakharuddin Shah and killed his daughter, Nida, and fled. According to Shah, some relatives had asked for his daughter’s hand in marriage but he had refused and had gotten her married to a man called Syed Ali Raza Shah. He added that he had requested them to resolve the dispute, but instead they killed his daughter. However, his son said that Ali Raza and his brothers were behind the murder. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
