LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Friday directed the Baghbanpura SHO to record the version of a woman seeking the registration of a case against three men and a woman whom she accuses of “casting a spell on her so she would agree to run a prostitution ring”. Ambreen said she had married Muhammad Shahbaz a few years ago but their relationship had soured recently. She said that her husband, his mother, sister and other family members wanted her to start a prostitution ring but she refused to do so. She said they often beat her up for not bowing to their immoral demands. She said her brother-in-law then cast a spell on her so she would agree to their idea, but that had not worked. She said she had visited the police but the SHO did not register her complaint. She asked the court to direct the SHO to do so.
