HYDERABAD:

Sindhi nationalist party Jeay Sindh Mahaz (JSM) will block National Highway near Hyderabad on May 25 to protest the continuous migration into Sindh, said party president Riaz Chandio at a meeting on Tuesday.

According to Chandio, Sindhis are becoming a minority in their motherland. He alleged that the Sindh government led by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is giving land in the coastal and mountainous regions of the province for residential and development projects to settle the 'outsiders'. The JSM reiterated the demand of expelling all illegal immigrants from the province.

Meanwhile, Qaumi Awami Tehreek's president advocate Ayaz Palijo condemned the continued targeted killings in Karachi. "The young men who come from other parts of Sindh are being killed," he claimed. "Their parents receive their bodies."
