Kohat District Health Officer (DHO) Captain (retd) Habib Khattak termed reports of children fainting after getting a measles shot as baseless.

According to a handout issued on Wednesday, Khattak said, “The propaganda against the measles drive can risk the health of thousands of children.” He added the drive in Kohat is in full swing and thousands of children have been vaccinated against the deadly disease in the past three days.

A committee, under his supervision, is monitoring all activities and appealed to health officials to speed-up their efforts, added the statement.
