Make sure your bathroom is clean so that you are comfortable while bathing.
Take a shower so you don’t feel you are bathing in dirty water.
Avoid artificial fragrances as they don’t provide the same results as natural oils. Always know the properties of any oil you’re using. Some oils have lingering after-effects such as increasing the likelihood of getting sunburn if you go into direct sunlight. Read all the labels, warnings and directions accompanying each essential oil. It is also important to know of any allergies before using them, suggests Wikihow.
Set the temperature of the water right; it shouldn’t be too hot, yet not too cold. Too hot can cause dizziness, whereas too cold may result in you falling sick.
Keep a nice towel by the tub and arrange some candles for a nice comfortable glow. Place the candles in a safe place to avoid accidents.
Play some nice soothing music to create a relaxing atmosphere.
Prepare some refreshing beverage and keep it by the tub to have while bathing. Having chocolates or strawberries is also a fun idea.
Tie up your hair and climb carefully in the tub. Relax in the warm water for as long as you wish. You can apply a facial mask and place slices of chilled cucumber on your eyes while bathing.
Once you are done, apply moisturiser all over your body to keep the skin radiant and glowing.
