ISLAMABAD:

A road show held in the capital on Thursday showcased the best of “Intel mobile solutions”.

While speaking at the second annual Intel mobility road show, Intel Country Manager Naveed Siraj said the company was committed to providing technological innovations at affordable prices to everyone.  According to a press release, he said the innovations would revolutionise the lives of 65 million potential middle class users in the country by bringing about positive changes.

While giving details about the Intel product line, he said Intel’s Bay Trail platform included low-power chips for tablets and notebooks as well as more powerful chips designed for desktop computers. These have been designed to increase battery life on high usage devices and allow manufacturers to provide thinner, lighter and more powerful devices. “Bay Trail-T is Intel’s most capable, high- performance system-on-chip for tablets and other mobile devices” he added.

“Today’s generation of Intel [products] delivers energy-efficient performance to power a range of computing devices. These devices deliver Intel-level performance powerful enough to run multiple applications simultaneously, allowing users to move between apps with ease,” he explained.

In the end, he said the government would have to develop infrastructure in order to attract investors in the IT sector, while underscoring that technological development would help boost Pakistan’s economy.

Good news for the offering of Bay Trail, Bay Trail-T platform for the OEM market. For the growing market of tablet switch over from the laptop. Interesting development of the launch of Microsoft Surface 3 on Intel platform is interesting platform. Hope Intel Pakistan is now at a level playing field with our region of Intel India, and Intel China in which I would say from CICA in which Pakistan falls as regional comprehensive partnership. Is the Bay Trail, Bay Trail-T platform usual press release for Intel Pakistan office, or a will to come forward as Intel China in view of CICA membership Pakistan can benefit exponentially from the regional collaboration.
