Fatal Playground : Child’s death to be investigated

DCO Saqib Manan set up a three-member fact finding committee to probe child's death.

SARGODHA: The district coordination officer (DCO) on Wednesday set up a fact-finding committee to probe the death of a four-year-old boy who had passed away after falling in a manhole. Police said Omar Farooq was playing in a street near a mosque when he fell in the hole and died. Residents of the area had staged a protest and demanded strict against those responsible. According to a handout, DCO Saqib Manan set up a three-member fact finding committee headed by Assistant Commissioner Abdullah Kharrum Niazi to probe the child’s death.
