Misuse Of Authority: APCA goes on hunger strike

APCA activists demanded transfer and said an inquiry to probe museum director's alleged corruption be started.

BAHAWALPUR: Activists of the All Pakistan Clerks Association on Wednesday staged a hunger strike on Circular Road and blocked it for traffic. They were protesting against the Bahawalpur Museum director. Bahawalpur APCA President Hafiz Muhammad Akhtar, Vice President Irshad Hussain Baloch and Bahawalpur Museum officials participated in the demonstration. They said a case registered against the museum workers Imran, Ramzan and Munir be dismissed. They said the museum director was misusing his authority and was threatening workers with cases. They demanded his transfer and said an inquiry to probe his alleged corruption be started.
