The additional sessions judge of Chauta Lahor has awarded death sentences to three men found guilty in a murder case.
Additional Sessions Judge Manzoor Qadir also imposed a Rs100,000 fine on the accused during the hearing on Tuesday.
The men have been charged with killing Waliur Rehman from Yar Hussain. Rehman’s body was found in Kund Park.
Chauta Lahor police then arrested Rohullah, Amir and Khush Rang and presented a charge-sheet against them in the court of the additional sessions judge.
The police report cited that a dispute related to women took place, leading to the murder of Waliur Rehman.
The judge ruled that the three would have to face an additional six months imprisonment if they are unable to pay the fine.
Public prosecutor Muhammad Tariq Khan and advocate Sher Akbar Bacha represented the petitioner while Advocate Sajid Khan represented the accused.
