QUETTA: The National Transmission and Dispatched Company ( NTDC) and Quetta Electric Supply Company (Qesco) on Sunday finally started work on the transmission lines that had snapped during a thunderstorm on May 7. Meanwhile, people across Balochistan are suffering 16 to 20 hours long power cuts. According to Qesco spokesperson Mohammed Afzal the repairs started following security clearance to fix the broken power pylons in the restive area of Mach which is 80km southeast of Quetta. “It may take couple of days to conclude the repair work,” he added.
