LANDIKOTAL: A man was allegedly killed by members of a pro-government militia in the remote Zakha Khel Bazaar of Khyber Agency on Saturday. A political administration official said the suspect was killed for allegedly spying against Touheedul Islam (TI), a pro-government militia. He explained a tribesman’s body was spotted by a pedestrian who informed khasadar officials. The man was identified as Mairaj Khan, a resident of Zakha Khel. The official said the man was a spy for Lashkar-e-Islam (LI), a local militant outfit, and was helping LI in attacking TI members. A number of TI members have been attacked by LI militants in the past. The official said TI members allegedly captured Mairaj and later shot him dead and then dumped his body.
