According to reports, a large bird came in front of his private plane which had just taken off from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore en route to Bahawalpur.
The pilot managed to save the plane from crashing and immediately informed the Air Traffic Control that they are turning back as he feared the bird might have hit the plane.
After checking the system and discovering that no damage was caused to the plane, they continued their journey to Bahawalpur.
Sarwar was headed to Bahawalpur for a personal trip. A few other people were also present in the plane with him.
Bird strikes are a significant threat to flight safety and have caused a number of accidents with human casualties around the globe.
According to sources at the Civil Aviation Authority, dozens of incidents have been reported in which birds damaged the engines of various aircraft during take-off and landing.
