FESTIVITIES AND FUN: Keenjhar mela to kick off from Friday
There will be many activities organised for the festival, such as a musical concerts, sports contests and boat races.

Keenjhar mela is all set to start off from May 9 and continue till May 11, according to the Sindh culture and tourism department. There will be many activities organised for the festival, such as a musical concerts, sports contests, boat races, matka races, kids play zones and competitions, food stalls, art and handicraft stalls, magic shows, fireworks, tableaus, traditional dances and others. The concert will be held on all three nights of the festival and singers such as Ahmed Mughal, Allah Dino Khaskheli, Tufail Sanjrani, Kosar Marvi, Mehtab Kanwal, Saen Dad Faqir, Marwal group, Shenai group and others will perform. Urging the people of Sindh to participate in the festival, special assistant to the chief minister Sharmila Faruqi explained that the event was an effort to promote and explore the cultural and tourism value of Pakistan and especially Sindh.
