CNG cylinder explosion leaves 1 dead in Rawalpindi

Two others also injured, reportedly in critical condition.

RAWALPINDI:
One person was killed while two others sustained injuries when a CNG cylinder fitted in a car exploded at a filling station in Rawalpindi, Express News reported on Wednesday.

The deceased was the driver of the car.


Rescue official arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to a hospital. The injured are reportedly in critical condition.

The explosion also damaged the ceiling of the station which was sealed after the incident.

Earlier in March, a man died and four other were injured when a cylinder of a minibus exploded at a station in Karachi’s SITE area.
