Arms possession: American sent on physical remand

KARACHI: An American national, who was earlier held at the airport after bullets and a magazine were recovered from him, has been sent on physical custody remand by a judicial magistrate in district Malir.  Adam H Ishaque, the judicial magistrate in district Malir, remanded the suspect to police till May 10. According to the prosecution, the US national was arrested by the Airport Security Force (ASF) on Monday when he was trying to travel along with ammunition from Jinnah International Airport Karachi. During the search by the ASF staff, 15 bullets of a 9mm pistol along with a magazine were found in his bag. He was heading from Karachi to Islamabad by flight PK-308. A case under section 23 1 (a) of the Sindh Arms Act, 2013 was registered against him.

It is less likely that America needs to depute an American national (FBI Agent) for spying in Pakistan where they can easily find people for this job even in our presidency!
