Land protection: CDA retrieves 3,000 kanals from encroachers

The Enforcement Directorate of Capital Development Authority (CDA) has retrieved around 3,000 kanals of land from encroachers in Bhara Kahu, Bani Gala and its surrounding areas.


The spokesperson of the civic agency told this agency that operation against encroachments in different areas of the federal capital is ongoing.


The Environment Wing on the CDA chairman has started tree plantation on the retrieved land and installation of barbed wire to protect the land.


CDA has also taken Google images of retrieved land to save it from re-encroachments. The chairman has further directed the Environment Wing and Enforcement Directorate to ensure protection of recovered land through joint coordination.
