KARACHI: A special course on crime investigation and intelligence collection is being started on May 8 at the Police Training College, Saeedabad. The course will cater to officers and personnel of the Special Branch, Crime Investigation Department (CID) and the Crime Branch. According to the Training DIG, Azhar Rasheed, the course will help the personnel develop investigation skills and ensure effective policing. He was speaking at a meeting presided over by Sindh IGP Iqbal Mehmood. The course will be conducted over a week’s time and will constitute four phases. The meeting was also informed of the plans to install more surveillance cameras at various locations.
