LAHORE: The younger brother of property tycoon Malik Riaz, Major (retd) Tariq Malik, died in Lahore on Tuesday. He was under treatment in a hospital. His funeral prayers will be held at Bahria Town, Lahore on Tuesday (today) at 10am. Messages of condolences poured in from across the country and abroad. Former president Asif Ali Zardari in his message said that he was saddened by the death of Malik Riaz’s brother. “Passing away of a brother is a big tragedy,” he said while praying for the eternal peace of the departed soul. PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Pervaiz Elahi, Moonis Elahi also sent their condolence messages to the bereaved family.

I jusr recived the information about the sad demise of Maj(rtd) Tariq Malik in Lahore Pakistan. He was a great man ,I met him ,twice ,while in Pakistan in early years. I am really sad to hear this sad news ,and my sympthy goes to Riaz Malik Saib,his brother Farahat Malik, Naheem Malik & other members of the family. I pray that mighty God give them courage to face this great loss. My Wife & daughter also joing with me for the pray ,May God rest his soul in peace ,and give him paradize .
