Connecting cities: HCCI calls for M-9 motorway

At a meeting HCCI representatives and members highlighted the need of the new motorway’s construction.

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) has urged the federal government to allocate a budget for the construction of the M-9 Motorway on the existing Super Highway, which connects Karachi with Hyderabad. At a meeting of the HCCI on Sunday, the representatives and members highlighted the need of the new motorway’s construction as they complained about the poor condition of the existing highway. Travellers face difficulties and carriage of goods is problematic.
