Two bodies bearing torture marks recovered from Karachi

Security officials also round up 100 men suspected of being involved in street crimes, extortion.

KARACHI: Two bodies showing signs of torture were recovered from Karachi on Sunday, Express News reported. 

One of the bodies, placed inside a gunnysack, was reportedly dumped by unidentified men in Zaman Town near Korangi Road. Upon discovery, the body was taken to Jinnah Hospital.

The other body was found in Dhobi Ghat, which is in Garden area. The body was taken to Civil Hospital.

Also in the city, the police and Rangers have rounded up nearly 100 suspects accused of being involved in street crimes and extortion from Sohrab Goth, Dhobi Ghat, Liaquatabad and other neighbourhoods.

Security officials also claim that they have also recovered 90 types of weapons.
