Family Rift: Man shot dead, 6 injured

DERA GHAZI KHAN: A man was shot dead and six people were injured in a family feud in Basti Chabri, police said.

They said Sabir Husain, Yousuf, Essa, Arshad, Majid, Khadim and Bachal Mai had gone harvesting when Nazar, Shimla and Pir Bakhsh opened fire on them. Husain died instantly while Essa, Arshad, Majid, Khadim and Bachal Mai were taken to a hospital.

They told police the attackers had earlier injured 11 of their relatives. Station House Officer Malik Abid said a case had been registered against the attackers who he said had fled.
