
The accused, identified as Rano, was apprehended during snap-checking by the Arambagh police.
SHO Kenson Dean told The Express Tribune that the accused was affiliated with the JSQM and was arrested with a hand grenade, a tennis ball bomb and a pistol.
SHO Dean added that he was involved in several cases of bomb blasts at railway tracks across the province.
He said that a case has been registered against him and he was given to police custody for a seven-day remand after he was produced in a court.
