Corruption allegations: Mardan DSP handed to NAB for 10 days

The court granted NAB a 10-day physical remand of the accused.

PESHAWAR: A serving DSP from Mardan, accused of accumulating illegal assets worth millions of rupees, was handed into the National Accountability Bureau’s custody for 10 more days on Tuesday.

Rajab Ali, a former Hayatabad SHO, was produced in the accountability court of judge Tariq Yousafzai.

NAB officials informed the court that the accused had purchased properties in the name of his relatives and the bureau was attempting to identify them.

The court then granted NAB a 10-day physical remand of the accused. Ali was arrested on April 19 from Mardan.
