BAHAWALPUR:

The Family Craft Festival will be held on May 3 and May 4. It will provide aspiring artists and craftsmen an opportunity to showcase their work, Bahawalpur District Coordination Officer Imran Sikandar Baloch said at a meeting in the DCO office’s committee room on Monday.

Baloch said the festival will promote local artisans. He directed the Craft Bazaar committee and relevant department officials to take special steps to make the festival a successful one.

He said the festival will have many stalls for people to display and sell their craft.

MNA Begum Parveen Masood Bhatti said the festival will provide local craftsmen an excellent platform to sell their art...eliminating the role of middle men.
