Drive-by shooting: Peace committee member gunned down

Member of the Bara Aman Committee was gunned down in Jehangirabad area of Faqirabad.

PESHAWAR: A member of the Bara Aman Committee was gunned down in Jehangirabad area of Faqirabad late Monday night. Zar Bagh Jan, an active member of the peace committee, was shot dead by unidentified motorcyclists who managed to flee after the incident, according to the police. Meanwhile, a man identified as Tariq was killed over a personal feud on Ashraf Road. Police said two accused, Roohul Amin and Shah Aurangzeb are still at large.
