Dressed in army uniform: Body of militant found from nullah near Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Badhaber police found body of one of the attackers, who ambushed police vehicles last night, from a nullah in Zangali area Tuesday morning.

An official of the local police station told the Express Tribune that the body was found in a local nullah off the main road and the deceased was in army uniform.

“He is in army uniform and looks like a local from his appearance,” he said, adding that every effort was being made to establish his identity. The body of the deceased was shifted to Badhaber police station.

On the night of April 21, militants had ambushed two police vehicles, killing five policemen and two civilians. Two policemen were injured in the attack as well.
