Shootout: Proclaimed offender killed

His three accomplices arrested from near Adda Awagat, Chak 59 GB.

FAISALABAD: Police said they had killed a proclaimed offender on Monday and arrested his three accomplices from near Adda Awagat, Chak 59 GB. They said a Khurarianwala police party had asked motorcyclists Adil, Imran, Amjad and Asghar to stop. “But they opened fire on police and fled.” They said police chased them and surrounded them. Police asked them to surrender but they hid in nearby fields. Adil was killed and Imran, Amjad and Asghar were injured. The injured were arrested after a 30-minute shootout.
